House under the Karst stands at the foot of the Karst Plateau and represents an excellent starting point for all hikers cyclists and nature enthusiasts. There are many gourmet restaurants and local food and wine producers in the vicinity in the direction of the Karst and all other directions.

We are located only approx. 20 min from the Vipava Valley, the Brkini Hills, the Soča Valley, the sea in neighbouring Italy, the Trnovo and the Banjska Plateaus and the Karst. In short, the hills, rivers, the sea and various culinary challenges are all in the palm of your hand.

Adrenaline enthusiasts should visit the nearby adventure park, kayak centre or bungee jumping in Solkan.

There is paragliding and hang-gliding on the Trnovo Plateau, and numerous pathways to go mushrooming in the Lokve direction.

The Banjska Plateau invites you to go horseback riding and to visit its numerous producers of homemade delicacies, especially cheesemakers.

Towards Vipava you can take a walk along the wine routes and the old town centres found in the town of Vipava. The pathway opens along the Soča Valley up to Kobarid, Tolmin and Bovec, where you can relax in the clean Soča River up to its source or in the rivers of Idrijca and Nadiža.

You can also take a walk around Lake Most na Soči or rent a kayak and explore the streams.

The Soča Valley also offers numerous waterfalls, springs and important starting points for hiking and mountaineering trips.

From the nearby town of Nova Gorica you can take a short train ride almost to the other side of Slovenia, to the beautiful destinations of Bohinj and Lake Bled.

Kras and Postojna invite you to world-famous cave adventures, and in one hour you can be in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana.

In the company of Teran wine and prosciutto ham, the path leads us through Karst to the Sistiana Bay and Trieste and other seaside resorts where we can bathe in the sun. Water-sports enthusiasts can try windsurfing or kite boarding on windy days.

An important, easily accessible point is Venice, which can be reached in a good hour and a half.

In the immediate vicinity of the accommodation is the river Vipava, where you can experience a SUP excursion with or without a guide.

Something about our house; We recently renovated it and added a modern touch to the old rustic style. A new kitchen with a living room in the centre, two rooms with double beds. In each room there are a large built-in closet, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV with local and foreign channels, a bathroom with shower, laundry service, outdoor fireplace, shop and post office nearby.
